Jaguar D-Type Wheel - Cuff Links
Aurifex Ltd ,a leading London based Jeweller presented Cybaman Technologies with their manufacturing problem. They required a minature Replica of a Jaguar D-Type Wheel, for Limited Edition Cuff Links. Conventional RP processes could not deliver the accuracy and finish required, because of the small size of the parts. The models were initially designed with Rhino 3D CAD package and exported as Iges files for Cybaman Technologies. These were then imported into HyperMill 5-Axis CAD/CAM package. Process stratergies were developed on each part, using standard 3D and 5-Axes Cycles, these were then postprocessed by the Cybaman Post 6-Axes Postprocessor. Auriflex Ltd
